Supervision

Daily supervision report · DSR-001 · tablet-first

Daily construction supervision report

The engineer fills it on site from a tablet, GPS presence, verified quantities, inspections, HSE and photos. The PM approves and the report becomes an immutable, numbered FINAL PDF distributed to investor, EPC and lender.

Who it is for

One report, three parties reading it

Supervision firms

Field engineers fill the daily report on a tablet; the PM reviews and approves from the office. One unique number per day and project.

Owner's Engineer

Verified progress by WBS, inspections, technical forms, NCRs and delays, documented the day they happen, with photos and GPS.

PV investors and lenders

An immutable FINAL PDF for every site day, automatic distribution to investor, EPC and bank, weekly and monthly reports.

How it works

Three steps from site to FINAL PDF

  1. 1

    START with GPS

The engineer opens today's report on site. Presence time and position are recorded automatically; weather comes from the nearest station.

  2. 2

    Pick and measure

Workforce, equipment, verified quantities, inspections, HSE, with chips and lists, not free text. Photos carry location and time.

  3. 3

    FINAL PDF after approval

The PM reviews, returns for correction or approves. The FINAL version is stored with number, revision and SHA-256 and sent to the parties.

What the report contains

Compliance

Instruction No. 2/2005 (Albania), site book and daily works report

The site-book requirements for the works supervisor are covered by the daily report sections; the FINAL PDF of each day forms the chronological record of the project.

  • Date, weather and state of the work front

Section B, weather recorded automatically, terrain and programme status

  • Workforce and machinery present

Sections 1.1 and 1.2, by position, subcontractor and hours

  • Works executed and quantities

Section 1.3, accepted quantities against plan, cumulative per item

  • Materials received and certificates

Section 1.4, delivery notes, MIR, rejected quantities

  • Tests, checks and supervisor's observations

Sections 2.1–2.3 and 3.3, inspections, technical forms, NCRs, instructions

  • Signatures of supervisor and contractor

Section 5, prepared / reviewed / contractor acknowledgement via secure link

Full compliance with the contract and the authority's requirements remains the supervisor's responsibility; the template is configured for the specific project.

Security

Immutable record, role-based access

  • Secure sessions (HttpOnly cookie), HTTPS with HSTS in production.
  • Four roles: admin, PM, field engineer, viewer (FINAL only).
  • Every status transition is logged with time, user, IP and device.
  • FINAL PDF with SHA-256 and a numbered file name.
  • Reopening a FINAL report only with a reason and a new revision.
  • Security and personal data - what is stored, where and for how long (Albanian).

FAQ

Before you start

Does it work without internet on site?

Yes. The app installs as a PWA; report changes are stored on the device and synchronised when the connection returns. The report page opens offline too.

Who can change a FINAL report?

Nobody silently. Only an administrator or the PM can reopen it with a reason; the report moves to a new revision and every action is logged with time, user and IP.

How is the engineer's presence on site evidenced?

START and STOP store the time and GPS coordinates with the device accuracy. Distance from the site and leaving the perimeter are noted in the report.

Can we adapt the template to our project?

Yes. Sections, mandatory fields, option lists, legal texts and numbering are configurable per organisation and per project, without code changes.

Where is the data stored and who sees it?

On your organisation's server, with roles (admin, PM, engineer, viewer) and per-project access. Viewers, investor, bank, only see FINAL reports.
